Baby Austin

We welcomed Austin Lee, Thursday August 2oth at 12:25pm. It was a scheduled induction...going past my due date was not fun, (even if it was just 3 days). Austin just needed a little help to get here!

Labor was way faster than I could have ever imagined, only about 2 hours. I was expecting to be in labor about 7 hours or so, since I was in labor with William for 14 hours. I almost had him natural...I received my epidural at 9cm, not by choice. I never planned to wait that long, it was only because my body progressed so quick. I felt mostly everything...definitely would not want to do that again!!

We are pretty much adjusted now, William is a great big brother. He loves to hold baby Austin, and love and kiss on him. He's only tried to pick him up once by his self, of course I panicked! As for our sweet little Austin, you couldn't ask for a better baby, I don't know how I got so lucky. I'm so thankful for my healthy beautiful boys.

William turns 3!!

Where has the time gone? I can't believe my little William is 3 years old!! It's hard to believe he's no longer a baby!! It's just the beginning of summer, but we are already anticipating the end of summer. We, especially William are soo excited to welcome our second baby boy in August. The baby still does not have a name, hopefully we will have one picked out before he gets here!!

William was very excited to celebrate his birthday, he knows his birthday, his age and that he's no longer two! He's gotten very good at holding up three fingers to show off his age. We got William a "big boy bike", for his birthday it's his favorite thing at the moment. It's the cutest little bike and seems to fit him perfect! His new bike is all he thinks about, "can I ride my bike", comes out of his mouth all day long! It's amazing how much progress he's made riding it. The very first day he was a little scared when the training wheels would rock back and forth and he let go of the handle bars while going down the drive way. After a few days, he's a little pro!!

Thanks to everyone for helping William celebrate his 3rd birthday, he had lots of FUN!!

Easter

This year we celebrated Easter in North Carolina with Casey, Mike, Abby Kate and Debi. Brian was able to fly us there on Saturday, it was a short visit, but we had a great time. William couldn't wait to get to Aunt Casey's house he was very curious to know what her house looked like. He even asked me if their house was grey!

William and Abby Kate played really so good together, they were able to carry on a conversation amongst themselves pretty well! It didn't take them long to get in trouble! They had a habit of locking Abby Kate's door and jumping on her bed! They were to cute together.

Thanks again for having us, we had agreat time!!

What a busy weekend, we were very thankful for warmer weather! I hope it sticks around for a long time, like til next fall! It was so nice to spend the day outdoors at the zoo. And to spend time with Cristy and Caden. It was a little windy but we weren't complaining, we managed to work up a sweat with all the walking. It was William's first time to walk on his own, and the first time to leave the stroller in the car, he did soo good. I'm so proud of him!
William had so much fun at Savannah's birthday party at Kazoing,(the jumpy place). Between the time change and two active days back to back, we are pooped! Thanks Emmy, for all your wonderful help.

Just wanted to share some pics from the last couple of weeks. William was so excited to drive his four wheeler in the snow...the cold weather didn't seem to bother him at all. William let his cousins, Emily and Gracie take a spin too.

We finally got a break from the snow and cold temps and we were able to play at the park. It was so good to be outside and NOT see snow covering the ground! William absolutley loves to be outside...it was a little difficult to persuade him to get in the car to go home.

Lastly, William wearing his head sets...taking off to fly to Vegas! He loves to pretend...he has a BIG imagination!

First ultrasound

Here are pictures from our first ultrasound. We were lucky enough to get an early ultrasound because my doctor wasn't able to hear the heartbeat. So, as a precaution we had an ultrasound done to make sure everything was okay with the baby. You can't really tell in the pictures but it was moving around, of course I can't feel it yet. The heart beat was around 173. Right now I'm eleven weeks, hopefully we'll get to find out the sex of the baby in about 7-8 weeks, can't wait!

CHRISTMAS

We had soo much fun this Christmas with William. He was so fascinated with Santa, definatley not afraid. Of course, the best part was William waking up to his new presents that Santa left for him. He seemed to understand that if he was a good boy, Santa would come down the chimney and leave him presents under the tree. We had a great Christmas and can't wait til next year!
